(nursery room, living room, porch, or all three options :), we can provide extra hardware. Step 2 – find and mark the stud. Use your stud finder and locate a ceiling joist or internal beam. Make sure you use a pencil to mark the middle of the beam. It is extremely important that you drill into the middle of the joist or beam. Step 3 – drill a hole for the eye hook. Once you have your spot marked and feel confident about it. Pre-drill the hole, making sure it is smaller than the size of your eye screw. Step 4 – screw in the eye hook. Once you have your hole drilled, it’s time to screw in your eye hook. As it gets a bit more difficult, grab a pliers, hammer, or wrench to get a bit more leverage. Step 5 – attach the swing. Once your eye hook is inserted all the way in. Attach it onto the eye hook. Step 6 – check for safety. Now, slowly apply some weight to the swing. Do not test the swing right in, but ease in. Give a couple quick tugs to make sure it was installed correctly. Step 7 – watch your little one swing away.
